Depot Market Nachos

Ingredients:

1/2 bag corn tortilla chips
1/2 bag blue corn tortilla chips
1-11/2lb ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Pkg of taco seasoning
1/4 c. water
2 c. shredded cheese
1/2 c. red onion, chopped
Depot Cream Sauce
2 Tbs. Southwest Ranch Dip Mix (available at the Depot)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lime, juice

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Add ground beef, yellow onion and garlic to skillet and cook until browned. Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 c. water and cook another 2 or 3 minutes.
  3. While the meat cooks, prepare the cream sauce by mixing all the ingredients together.
  4. Evenly spread the tortilla chips on a large cookie sheet and top with ground beef mixture. Sprinkle the cheese on top of the meat and place in the oven for 5 min.
  5. Top with chopped red onion, tomatoes, and drizzle with cream sauce.

Other variations and additions:
Replace beef with chicken, add crumbled bacon, roasted corn, or black beans. Add sliced fresh jalapeno and top with fresh lime juice.
