In 1981, Dan planted his first 6 acres of pumpkins by hand—no irrigation, no pest control, just a borrowed farm truck and a lot of hope. With a little beginner’s luck and the help of Providence, he harvested a surprisingly good crop. His first big sale? 10,000 pounds to a buyer in Omaha for 5 cents a pound.

Since then, our pumpkin patch has grown significantly. Today, we cultivate a large acreage and also partner with other local growers to meet demand. Our pumpkins have made their way across many states, and we continue to expand our reach each season.
We grow a wide variety of fall decorating pumpkins and squash—from tiny miniatures to one-of-a-kind ornamental varieties, to classic jack-o-lanterns and even giants. Each year, we like to try something new, especially the unusual and eye-catching types our customers love.
Shipping begins September 1st, and we look forward to helping you celebrate the season with the best pumpkins around.
